Aberdeen chairman Stewart Milne says Rangers never approached club for manager McInnes

The chairman of Aberdeen football club Stewart Milne says there has been no approach from Rangers for Derek McInnes.

The Dons boss had been speculated as a potential target for the manager-less Ibrox side since the departure of Mark Warburton last month.

But, Mr Milne says there's been nothing from them, and that he'd discourage - but not flat out deny - any request for McInnes from the Glasgow club.
