New procedure gives hope to Glaucoma sufferers

Known as the silent theif of sight, Glaucoma is the developed world's leading cause of sight loss.

If caught early enough, through regular eye checks, the condition can be manged with different drug combinations but left unchecked it will lead to blindness.

A new procedure is being used at St Thomas' Hospital in London, which is giving new hope for a surgical solution to the condition.
