The sister of an Aberdeenshire kayaker who died earlier this week has set up a crowdfunder to raise awareness of personal locator beacons (PLBs).

A major search was launched for Dominic Jackson when he failed to return from a trip to sea at Portsoy on Sunday.

Yesterday, emergency services found the body of the 35-year-old amid their search near Lybster in Caithness.
