After a big comeback at Hampton, Coach Fred Batchelor and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Women’s Basketball team could not duplicate the same result as Coppin State (CSU) defeated the Hawks, 55-49, inside the William P. Hytche Athletic Center.
With the setback, Eastern Shore dropped to 9-11 (3-6 MEAC) while the Eagles improved to 5-16 (5-4 MEAC) on the season.
