After knocking off previously unbeaten Bethune-Cookman, the league's top scoring squad was grounded as they were defeated by Florida A&M (FAMU), 59-49, inside the Al Lawson Center. As a result, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Women's Basketball team was held to a season-low 49 points in the loss.
