Bosses @Leic_hospital tell Capital they're working to reduce the pressure on the service after a system critical situation was declared

It's claimed excessive numbers of patients were going to the Emergency Departments at Glenfield Hospital and the Leicester Royal Infirmary since the weekend.

They're trying to ensure patients who don't need emergency treatment don't turn up.
