"I chose these sounds as they reminded me of the source material I used for a track a few years ago. I created a piece using the sound of 30 nine year olds' first trumpet lesson. I like the idea of taking something that is not meant to be heard and doing something with it. Multiple layers of stretched segments of organ and trumpet interact to create interesting effects. I'm never quite sure how the sounds will come out, and that is part of the magic."
