Ellis Hill
Former actress Ellis Hill joined Anglia TV in 1965 as a reporter and presenter before moving over to BBC East in the early 1970s. She was one of the presenters of the Radio 4 VHF opt-out programme 'Roundabout East Anglia' (she's speaks about that experience here, the photo shows her helping the Norfolk Fire Brigade). Between 1987 and 1992 Ellis worked for BBC Radio 2 as an announcer and newsreader as well as presenting 'Night Ride'. She then moved to Vienna to appear on Blue Danube Radio. Ellis lived out her retirement in Vienna. She died on 3 December aged 82.
