The Archbishop of Canterbury,has warned the UK not to turn inwards in the wake of the vote to leave the EU. Justin Welby told the House of Lords it was time for the country to unite around a shared vision of the common good.

Also tonight, a Lib Dem former minister is first off the blocks to congratulate the winner of the Richmond Park by election.

And the SNP leads calls for a change in the law on the way sanctions are imposed on benefits claimants.

The programme also takes a look at how changes to parliamentary procedure designed to satisfy calls for English votes for English laws are working in practice.
