Saxophonist Marcus Strickland joined Chris Philips ahead of two nights at Ronnie Scott's for EFG London Jazz Festival.

Marcus Strickland's Twi-life's recent Blue Note album 'Nihil Novi' and his work with Revive Music has received plenty of air-play on Jazz FM over the last year. Chris Philips invited him in for a chat about the genesis of his groove-laden, hip hop-informed new sound produced by bassist Me'shell Ndegeocello.
