Redskins Score Tight Victory Over The Vikings. After going into halftime down 20-14, the Redskins stormed back int the second half and picked up a 26-20 victory to extend the team’s record to 5-3-1 on the season. Fourth Quarter: Redskins 26, Vikings 20 / After Minnesota started the fourth quarter with a one-yard gain on a 2nd-and-1 play, the Redskins held firm, holding the Vikings to just three more plays before bring out the punt return unit. Jamison Crowder fair caught a 41-yard punt at the eight-yard line. The Redskins would quickly get out of the shadow of their own end zone, though, as Robert Kelley would pick up 21 yards on first down before Kirk Cousins hit Pierre Garçon and Jamison Crowder for receptions.
