For music fans 1996 was the year of 1977. Because that was when the Downpatrick band Ash released their breakthrough album with that very title. 1977 spawned big hits like 'Oh Yeah' and' Girl from Mars.' Tonight Ash will play all of those songs at a concert in Belfast. The gig is being held as part of the Northern Ireland Music Awards at the Mandela Hall in Queen's - and there Ash themselves will be presented with the Oh Yeah Legends award.
