Motivation: How to Sail through Challenging times
“Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.” ~Charles Swindoll
Aged just 15-years, John Akol Paul, witnessed his whole family perish in an accident. He survived only because he remained home, while his parents and three siblings traveled to visit relatives in another village.
Left all alone, he has had to deal with numerous challenges; from hopelessness as his big dream to become a doctor is shattered, to loneliness, emotional brokenness, and life threatening situation. He says; “I feel broken, I can’t bear this any more, life is no more meaningful, the future looks bleak.”
This is obviously a challenging situation for Akol. But he can still be inspired to rise up, shake off the barriers, remain focused and be reminded that all will be well.
