Taskforce set up to implement recommendations of investigation into July fighting

The head of UN Peacekeeping, Hervé Ladsous, says a task force has been established to implement recommendations from an independent investigation into 3 - days of deadly fighting in Juba last July.

On Thursday Hervé Ladsous, held a closed door meeting of the UN Security Council where he had briefed members on the report.

He later spoke to reporters in New York who asked what impact the move by the Government of Kenya to withdraw its peacekeepers will have on the UN mission in South Sudan.
