The Pioneers outstanding season came to a heartbreaking end as the Dutchmen rallied for a 3-2 win in the Semifinals of Section 6AA North. Melrose prevailed by scores of 27-29, 25-18, 19-25, 25-18 and 16-14. Pierz finishes the year with a record of 22-8.
