WFP delivers food aid to about 9 - Thousand IDPs in Lainya

The United Nations World Food Program has begun carrying out the first delivery of humanitarian assistance to Internally Displaced persons in Lanya County.
Speaking to Miraya Breakfast Show, George Fominyen, WFP communications officer said that with support from the logistics team and various actors in the area, food aid was delivered to Logwiri and Luka West of Lainya County.
Fominyen says they managed to reach 9-thousand people but have been unable to reach many people still hiding in the bush.
