A Young Lord's Story - Cha Cha Jimenez (Re-Upload)

Cha Cha Jimenez is a legendary figure in the Puerto Rican and Latino political history of America. In this first episode, he takes us on a journey growing up in 1950s/1960s Chicago and the creation of the Young Lords as a gang. It only gets better from there as Cha Cha documents the journey where they make the transition into a civil and human rights organization.

We also talk about collaborations with Fred Hampton and the original Rainbow Coalition, dealing with government surveillance, and lessons for young activists today.
