SRSG reiterates UN’s commitment to support South Sudan

The Special Representative and Head of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan, Ellen Margrethe Løj, has reiterated the United Nation’s commitment to support South Sudan through the challenging times ahead.

Presiding over events to mark the United Nations day in Juba, the SRSG reminded Government and the citizens that the Peace agreement remains the most credible vehicle to revive the peace process.

SRSG Ellen Margrethe Løj, noted that the Transitional Government of National Unity and parties to the conflict must put an end to the suffering of the people and commit to inclusive dialogue reconciliation and justice.
