The Port of Sóller Radio Programme – Mick West, godfather of Celtic song

Oct 21, 2016, 02:30 PM

This weekend, celebrated singer Mick West is bringing a traditional Scottish ceilidh to Sóller. On Saturday night, the centre of the city will reverberate to the sound of bagpipes, harp, fiddle, stamping feet and, of course, Mick's haunting vocals. He chatted to Shirley Roberts at Bar Papi's in Palmanova. The ceilidh will take place at the Victoria Cultural Centre in Soller. It begins at 7pm and all ages are welcome. Entry is free but the performers ask that you make a donation to the Red Cross.
