South Sudanese Teen implores parents to educate girls

[...] "We are not a source of wealth, ... You have to motivate your daughter and tell them that no matter how much you fail, that doesn’t mark the end of the journey and the door of hope has not yet been closed," says Acol Majur, a South Sudanese teenager.

Acol Majur, a student at the Dr John Garang National memorial Secondary school in Juba, says parents must stop treating girls as sources of wealth and instead support them in school.
