The United Nations Country Team in South Sudan will tomorrow launch a short term development plan for its activities in South Sudan.
The Interim Cooperation Framework or the ICF consolidates UN agency response in the country over the two year period January 2016 – December 2017.
It was adopted jointly by all UN organisations, in consultation with their national and international partners. The World Food Program is one of the agencies involved.

WFP Country Director, Joyce Luma says the ICF was developed in the absence of a national development plan for the UN to align its response.
She says the framework focuses on five cross cutting outcomes centered round building resilience and peace building.
