James Hughes, Chief Market Analyst at GKFX and Tony Cross, CEO of Monk Communications talk about the implications of the major finance/business news reported over the weekend.

Brexit has kicked off after UK PM Theresa May said she will invoke article 50 by March 2017. Pound has been offered across the board in response to May’s comments. Cross expects EUR/GBP volatility to stay elevated as PM’s comments come at a time when European banking sector is rocked by Deutsche Bank mess.

They also shed light on another piece of news – ‘Bonus shake-up at Alton Towers owner’ and ‘Seatbelts on at EasyJet’. The airliner is set to report sharp drop in profits in the year to the end of September.
