Members of Congress handed President Obama a humiliating defeat on Wednesday, over-riding his veto of legislation that will allow families of 9/11 victims to sue the government of Saudi Arabia. The families accuse the Saudis of culpability in the 2001 attacks, but President Obama had urged Congress to abandon the legislation, arguing it would put US interests globally at risk.
