In today’s opening segment of the London open show, Tip TV’s Zak Mir and Mike Ingram, Strategist at BGC Partners discuss the back-to-back horrors faced by Deutsche Bank. The conclusion being that the mess could easily get ugly, but it is certainly not a ‘Lehman’ moment as the mess has been known to markets for quite some time and overall markets still appear pretty stable.

Ingram wonders what has kept ECB silent about the Deutsche Bank issue. However, the odds are the silence might end as ECB’s Draghi might comment on the banking sector concerns in his appearance before German parliament’s EU committee. The panel agrees that nothing major is going to come through from Yellen’s testimony due later today. Ingram and Mir also discuss Oanda sentiment.
