Sports Direct: A risky play, but no catalyst for change seen yet - Hargreaves Lansdown

Khalaf details the recent developments in Sports Direct, and notes that the institutional investors are yet to get what they wanted, and lot of reforms they have been agitating for is yet to be resolved.
With the company is already struggling due to its exposure to FX risk, Khalaf highlights that there has been speculation going rife that the company isn’t behaving like a publicly listed company, but a private entity.
On investing in the firm, Khalaf believes that there is still a huge uncertainty in the company but can be a bet for investors who are looking to place risky bets and looking at recovery plays. Khalaf further cautions that “the company is yet to see any catalyst for change”.
