Macro talk – Focus on Fed speak, Presidential debate – GKFX

“The economic calendar is light and we do not have major data releases until Thursday, hence focus is on the Fed speak and Presidential debate”, says James Hughes, Chief Market Analyst at GKFX while talking to Tip TV’s Zak Mir.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will confront each other face-to-face today in first of the three debates ahead of the elections. It is widely believed that markets do not like Trump, hence volatility may spike.

Hughes also details the impact Fed speak could have on the markets. There are as many as dozen Fed policymakers scheduled to speak this week… the most important being Janet Yellen. Hughes also talks about FX markets and says gold could witness a breakout from sideways trading range following the presidential debate.
