Allen Vaysberg was born in the USSR and came to US at the age of 14, with his parents and $300 in their pockets in 1989 to make a better life. They settled in Chicago and that’s where Allen was raised.

Allen did make a better life and by mid-2012, seemingly had it all with a multi-million dollar per year IT consulting business, loving wife, great kids, big house, new cars and all debts paid off. But all of that didn’t bring him true happiness. So he quit his multi-million dollar per year business at the end of 2012 because he wasn’t fulfilled and knew he wasn’t living my essence. Since that time his life has dramatically.

In this episode you will also hear:

Why he would introduce himself as who he wanted to be rather than who he was
How he made the decision to completely pivot from his established businesses
Why quitting his job was a mistake
Why making less money was more meaningful than making millions
How his creative outlet of acting and writing became more than that
Why taking a breath can be transformational
Achieving balance can help you avert a career change in some circumstances
Why TOM is critical in making every decision you make
How you can discover your purest essence
How Allen explored B to C business and online marketing
Why being in the IT world was not true to his passion
Why knowing how to make money in business didn’t help in his transition
Why generating revenue from activities that aligned with his passion was the holy grail
Why being a Huffington Post writer didn’t help him
