Ian Balina was born in Uganda and moved to the US when he was 8 yrs old. He has been in the US since that time. Although his family was well off by Ugandan standards, but once they came to the US, his entire family was living off his Father’s student stipend as a PhD. He experienced culture shock when they came to the US. There were different standards for discipline in school and it was just hard to get used to. He got his degree in computer science. When he was 12, he taught himself how to build websites, so he became a website builder for video games. He knew he wanted to be able to buy things that his parents could not afford, so he wanted to earn his own money. His Uncle was his first client and he built websites for his preschools. He then moved into IT Support and had other clients that he would fix their computers and websites. Ian has started several companies as an adult and is currently the Founder of PeerHustle.com.
