Fed & rates: likely to be a pause again – Tip TV

Sep 19, 2016, 12:59 PM

Central banks take center stage this week and hence today’s opening segment begins with a discussion on the heavyweights – Fed rate decision and BOJ rte decision.

Richard Hunter, Head of Research at Wilson King Investments sees little reason for the Fed to move rates this week as the economic data hasn’t been impressive off late, plus we have elections in November. When quipped about the threat of stagflation in US, Hunter said there are signs of inflation ticking higher, but still it is too early to call anything.

Hunter is joined by Tip TV’s Nick Batsford and Zak Mir. The panel also discusses Broker forecasts, Oanda sentiment, COE report and most popular stories in business and finance.
