Imagine being on a smooth flight over the atlantic and out of the blue there's a sudden, uncontrolled drop. Passengers scream like they're on a funfair ride. John Dunton-Downer from London was on a United Airlines flight that had to make an emergency landing at Shannon Airport after hitting severe turbulence.
