Listen: Refugees in Derry describe what life was like in war-torn Syria
Syrian families living in Derry have been describing what life was like for them in the war-torn country before they fled and what life is still like for the loved ones they've left behind. One man has recently lost ten members of his family after their house was bombed. The group arrived in the city in May and families have spent the past three months settling in. Some were at the North West Regional College yesterday to find out more about courses. This is the first time they have spoken publicly about what their lives were like before they had to leave their home country. This report by Anna Maguire starts with 18-year-old Bayan's story.
