CBS ‘Sunday Morning’ Anchor Charles Osgood to Retire After 22 Years

Charles Osgood, anchor of CBS's Sunday Morning, announced he will retire from his 22-year run on the program when he makes his final appearance on Sept. 25.
"Some of you may have heard rumors lately that I won’t be hosting these ‘Sunday Morning’ broadcasts very much longer. Well, I’m here to tell you that the rumors are true," Osgood said during Sunday's broadcast.
