If one invites a piece of radio where Richard Bacon speaks to Chris Evans on the subject of Chris Moyles, one should stand well back.

All three are memorable, distinctive broadcasters who have hit the headlines in various ways during their career, as is so often a pre-requisite for great talent.

So, how fascinating was this exchange. Chris E suggests to Richard that Chris M is 'too old' for the Radio One breakfast show. The remarks came at a time when Chris Evans's Radio One counterpart was tempted to go off piste just a little in what were to be his final months on the breakfast show.
