Ohio Valley defeats Middle Atlantic 7-2.

Max Vandyke had four RBIs as Ohio Valley took home a 7-2 victory over Middle Atlantic in six innings at Cal Sr. Yard on Wednesday.

Collier Combs pitched lights out for Ohio Valley. Combs held Middle Atlantic hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out one.

David Castleberry got the win for Ohio Valley. He allowed two runs over three innings. Castleberry struck out one, walked three and gave up three hits.

Blake Weinstein was charged with the loss. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked two and struck out one.

Ohio Valley went up for good in the first, scoring three runs on a two-run double by Reece Mateyoke and a sacrifice fly by Vandyke.

Middle Atlantic brought home one run in the first inning, and matched that run total in the third. In the first, Middle Atlantic scored on an RBI double by Blake Morgan, scoring Colby Reynolds.

After pushing across one run in the bottom of the third, Middle Atlantic faced just a 6-2 deficit. A sacrifice fly by Blake Morgan triggered Middle Atlantic's comeback. Finally, Castleberry induced an inning-ending from Aaron Bergstrom.
