The Skis eliminated the Steves 3-2 from the 2016 Region 8C Tournament as Jake Kapphahn blasted a 2-run Homer in the 8th inning and Tyler Jendro threw his first complete game of the year, striking out 10 and allowing just 3 hits as Sobieski advanced to a State Play-in game in Freeport.
