Maida

Maida Vale reimagined by Chris Dunn.

"My intention with Maida was to go against my usual instinct. Normally I'd make something long and building. I'd try and find subtle overtones and turn them into pads. This time I grabbed the first thing I heard, and ran with it. No second guessing. I set myself the task of using nothing but sounds taken from the source recording and a small selection of plug-ins for processing.

The result is short, rhythmic and brutal."
