Mind Divided - Brixton Entrance
Brixton Station reimagined by Paul Verschooten (Mind Divided).
"In terms of choosing the location I went with a personal preference: the station close to O2 Academy, a bastion of music and culture in the center of a vivid and dynamic city. The fieldrecording was an inspiration to give the song a very positive and elated feel. There is a part of the fieldrecording where you can hear a woman accepting a free hug and laugh because of it which draws my attention each time. Watching the news and constantly hearing stories of war, terror and negativity makes me think we could all use a hug. After all a hug is a token of affection symbolizing a bond that doesn't discriminate between race, religion, sexuality or age. Go out and hug each other, let's make this world a better place together."
