Beauty pageants planned for later this year in Dublin will include two children's categories. Children from as young as 10 to 14 years will compete for the title of Junior Miss Ireland, while those aged from 14 to 19 years vie for the Miss Teen Ireland crown. The Belfast-based organiser of the October event Jennie Lynch has defended the contests saying they build self esteem.
