Will there be strike action in the North Sea

UNITE's ballot of Wood Group contractors working on Shell platforms comes to an end today.

They're angry over cuts to pay and working patterns, and talks with bosses ended in failure last week.

Wood Group says their priority is long term future for their workers, as the industry suffers in the oil price crisis.

If members vote for strike action - it could start as early as next week.
