GESS provides financial Incentive for Teachers to improve education
Up to 30-thousand teachers across the country are set to benefit from an Incentive Award project designed to support the education sector.
The initiative will see teachers receive an extra 200 pounds every month, as part of the steps being taken to incentivize teachers to bump up education in South Sudan.
Akuja De Garang, the Girls Education South Sudan project team leader tells Miraya Breakfast show that there is a lot of optimism that the one year initiative will mitigate the effects the economic challenges is having on the education sector.
