'It is absolutely criminal to own a yellow fever card without being vaccinated’ - Dr Loi Warns

“It is absolutely criminal to hold a #Yellowfever card without vaccination,” Dr Thuou Loi Cingoth, the director general of the #SouthSudan Ministry of Health has warned.

The warning comes amid rising concerns about the risk of yellow fever spreading on the African continent.

Speaking to the Miraya Breakfast Show, Dr Loi said holding the yellow fever card without being vaccinated, puts you at risk of getting the infection, you are at risk of carrying the infection into your country and therefore you can make yourself vulnerable and also make others vulnerable to get the infection."
