LISTEN - Bereavement Series: Friendship helped Patrick and John to live with loss

It's the final part of our special series that's been running all this week on the Breakfast Show asking the question: how do we live with grief? Today we're going to hear John McMonagle and Patrick Ferguson's story. They met when they were teenagers. But little did they know then, that the one thing they would have in common later in life was that they would become widowers. John's wife Jackie died in 2010 from breast cancer. She was 45. Patrick's wife Anne was 47 when she died from heart failure in 2009. They both say its their children and their life-long friendship that has helped them to live with their loss. They have been speaking to Elaine McGee.
