Indian Peacekeepers determined to support peace and tranquility in South Sudan
Today we salute the Indian Peacekeepers serving under the UN banner in South Sudan.
Out of the more than 2 thousand Indian peacekeepers in the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), about 550 are stationed in Malakal.
Ahead of the International day of UN Peacekeepers, Radio Miraya spoke to Lt. Saurabh Chaudary, chief of staff, Indian Battalion. He says he "feels so great serving as a peace keeper, trying to bring peace and tranquility for the people of #SouthSudan
