Amtrak Engineer in Deadly Crash Was Distracted

(WASHINGTON) — The engineer of an Amtrak train that derailed in Philadelphia last year, killing eight people, went "from distraction to disaster" in a matter of seconds because his attention was focused on a commuter train that had been struck by a rock, federal investigators said Tuesday.
