Fans of #mufc react to security alert ‘fiasco’ at Old Trafford
Outrageous and a fiasco. That's how yesterday's mistaken security alert at Manchester United's ground has been described. Tens of thousands of fans were packed into the ''Theatre of Dreams'' to see the last game of the season between the Reds and Bournemouth. It later emerged that the suspicious item that was found at Old Trafford was a "training device" that had been left there during the week. The discovery meant Man United's match against Bournemouth was called off and a controlled explosion was carried out. Greater Manchester's Police and Crime Commissioner, Tony Lloyd. has demanded an inquiry. Stephen spoke to Adam Morton, a season ticket holder from Portadown, and Jim Sandford, a season ticket holder from Newtownards, both of them were in the ground at the time.
