Plans for a "major overhaul" of how the BBC is run will be unveiled in a government White Paper later. But just how far will it go? Speculation this morning suggests changes might not be as far reaching as Tory ministers first wanted. It's thought the licence fee will run for another 11 years and only stars earning over £450,000 will have their pay made public. The government had wanted that to apply to anyone making over £150,000.
