Do adults and kids have different ideas about what makes great children’s literature?

Two of the best in the children’s book business, author Sally Rippin and author/illustrator Shaun Tan, will chat with Stevee and Keely, two young editors from children’s literary journal Early Harvest, as they explore writing, illustrating and commissioning for children.

Do authors, illustrators and editors have an imaginary reader in mind when they’re working? How can young readers become more involved in the publishing process? And why do some stories resonate more than others?

What do young bookworms really want to read? Readers of all ages are invited to hear the answer straight from the horse’s mouth.
