Charles Riva: Seven Years in Brussels

Having given up the role of gallery owner, French expat Charles Riva who divides his time between New York and Brussels is celebrating his seventh anniversary as an art collector in Brussels with two shows, Un Voyage en Mer at the Riva Collection and Human Figure at the Riva Project. The show at the Collection juxtaposes Mr. Riva's collection of American artists with Belgian artists all on a maritime theme, while the show at the Project combines Oceanic sculpture with contemporary European and American sculpture.
