#EasterRising: 'Francis Ledwidge marched here in 1916'

Poet Francis Ledwidge was a friend of one of the executed leaders of the Easter Rising, Thomas McDonagh. Ledwidge arrived back from combat in the First World War into a ruined Dublin - and was then sent to Derry.
