De La Salle Principal speaks out on school problems before she took over #bbcnolan

The Principal of the troubled De La Salle college in west belfast has spoken for the first time about past problems at the school - before she took over.

De la salle has been in the headlines with industrial action by teachers looming and a concerned parents group demanding a change of management.

But details have now emerged of past problems under previous management at the school - including a damning audit and a fraud investigation by police.

In a statement to this show, the principal Clare White has spelt out actions taken on these "legacy issues" which predated her time there.
